Two people have been rescued from a flat in Barnsley after a fire broke out.
Six fire crews were called to Chestnut Court, near Cope Street in Worsbrough Common, at about 12:50 GMT on Tuesday.
Firefighters helped two residents leave the property and the pair were then cared for by ambulance staff, a South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
The fire was extinguished by about 13:55 and the cause of the incident is under investigation, the spokesperson added.
