This week’s round-up of the latest and upcoming roadworks
Here are the current and upcoming roadworks taking place across the Hull area
- A63 Castle Street Scheme – St James Street to Market Place until May 31. Full infrastructure change, operating under a Development Control Order which gives the powers to National Highways to implement this scheme. Lane and road closures until completion of scheme. (National Highways)
- Elm Avenue. Until March 6. Carriageway reconstruction. Road closure in place. (Hull City Council)
- Ennerdale. From March 3 until March 23. Rear of 11-13 Riverview Gardens. Multi-way signals in place. (Northern Power Grid)
- Hessle Road. On March 8. To enable a principal inspection of the Hessle Road flyover underbridge unit, a westbound road closure will be in place from 12midnight until 6am. (Hull City Council)
- Humber Dock Street. Until April 30. Public realm works, road closure in place. Works are to take place on the public right of way along Humber Dock Street between junctions with Blanket Row and Humber Street. (Hull City Council)
- Holderness Road. From March 3 until March 5. Utility works at the junction of Laburnum Avenue. Contraflow in place. (Yorkshire Water)
- Main Road. Until March 6. Replacing gas pipe outside 9 to 93. Multi-way signals in place. (Northern Gas Networks)
- North Road. On March 6. Telecoms maintenance outside Fancis Askew Primary School. Two-way signals in place. (Cellnex)
- Walker Street. From March 4 until March 10. Carrying out work to either install, renew or replace assets on the water network. Junction of Campbell Street. Multi-way signals in place. (Yorkshire Water)
- Wawne Road. From March 3 until April 24. Council improvement scheme between Bude Road and Kesteven Way roundabout. Road closure in place. (Hull City Council)
- Princes Dock Street. Until April 30. Works are part of Hull Public Realm development scheme. Road closure in place. (Hull City Council)
