A man who killed a 62-year-old grandfather with a single punch during an altercation at a pub has been found guilty of manslaughter.
Harry Mannion, 28, knocked Tony Powles to the ground during a row the Red Lion, in Batley Road, Wakefield, on 9 October.
Powles died in hospital six days later as a result of his injuries.
Mannion, of Orchard Drive, Barnsley, was found guilty of manslaughter following a trial at Leeds Crown Court and is due to be sentenced on 20 July.
Following his death, Powles’ family said he was “loved by all who knew him”.
“It breaks our hearts that you are no longer here to see our milestones, share our memories and forever moments,” they said.
“It is devastating you can no longer live when you had so much to give and live for.”
They said his death had left “a massive hole in all our lives”.
