Eight parks managed by Doncaster City Council have been given Green Flag awards for the third year in a row.
The Green Flag scheme recognises parks and green spaces which are exceptionally well-maintained, clean and safe.
The eight given the status in Doncaster are: Bentley Park, Campsall Country Park, Cusworth Hall Park, Elmfield Park, Hexthorpe Park, Quarry Park, Sandall Park and Town Field.
The award is given to only the best-kept parks, assessed by expert judges at environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy.
Doncaster mayor Ros Jones said: “A lot of work goes into making sure that these sites meet the highest standards and it’s an honour to see that effort being recognised once again by the Green Flag judges.
“We take great pride in looking after our parks and green spaces, as we know just how much they mean to local residents, families and communities.”
