An 83-year-old man sadly died following a crash in the Hessle area. Police say the incident happened on Richmond Road near the junction with Beverley Road at around 3.50pm on Monday (July 27).
It is reported that a silver Vauxhall Corsa collided with two parked cars, a white Kia Ceed and a blue Hyundai i30. Launching an appeal for witnesses, a Humberside Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services attended the scene and the driver of the Vauxhall, an 83-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment where he passed away a short time later. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist trained officers at this time.
“If anyone witnessed the collision, has any dashcam or CCTV footage that may assist officers with ongoing enquiries, please contact our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 350 of 27 July.”
