A witness appeal has been launched following the tragic incident near Burton Pidsea
A police appeal has been launched after a motorcyclist tragically died in a crash in East Yorkshire. The incident happened on Fieldend Lane near Burton Pidsea just after 3pm on Friday (August 28), police say.
A dark-coloured Suzuki motorcycle is reported to have been travelling towards Burton Pidsea when it “left the carriageway and collided with a boundary fence”. A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services attended, but sadly the rider, a 38-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“The man’s family has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers.
“Enquiries remain ongoing to determine the full circumstances around the collision, and we would ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident, has any information, including dashcam footage leading up to the collision, to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 296 of 28 August.”
