On 18th August 2026 suddenly at home aged 89 years. Much loved husband of Mylene. He will be very sadly missed by all his family and friends. Passed away peacefully at home on 18th August 2026 aged 82 years. A much loved mother to Caroline and Mark. A service to be held in the small chapel, Chanterlands Crematorium on Tuesday 8th September 2026 at 12 noon prior to interment at Priory Woods. (Burke) (Babs) Died peacefully on 15th August 2026, aged 93, originally from Hessle. Beloved wife of the late Pete, much-loved mum, mum-in-law, gran & great-gran to many. Known to many as the former landlady of The Cosy Corner/The Coachman and the greengrocer at 149 Marton Road, Bridlington. She had lived in Bempton since 1980. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral, but please raise a glass of Cinzano and lemonade in her honour.
Suddenly at home, in Market Weighton, on 9 August aged 55 years. Beloved son of Janet and the late Geoffrey. dear nephew, cousin and a very loyal friend and Godfather. Dennis Waites passed away peacefully at Hull Royal Infirmary on Saturday 15th August 2026, aged 92. Husband of the late Pat, Loving Dad of Paul, Gail, Karl, Kirsty and In-Laws, Grandad and Great Grandad. Dennis will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A Private Funeral will take place.
(Mike) Peacefully in hospital with his loving family at his bedside on Saturday 8th August 2026, aged 75 years. Beloved and loving husband of Anne, much loved and proud father of Clare, Martin, Sarah and their dearest other halves, adored and adoring grandad of Adam, Jack, Owen, Ellie, Harry, Molly and Thomas, brother, in-law, uncle and friend. Mike will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Requiem Mass to be held on Thursday 17th September at 11.30am at St Charles Borromeo Church, Jarratt Street, Hull followed by family interment at Priory Woods Cemetery, 1.00pm.
