A woman has died after being hit by a car on a rural road in West Yorkshire.
The 52-year-old woman was struck by the vehicle in Kebs Road, north of Todmorden, at around 05:40 BST on Tuesday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
West Yorkshire Police said a 68-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Officers have appealed for witnesses and said a scene remains in place on the road while inquiries are made.
