Christmas lights hung up in memory of people have been left damaged in Doncaster, prompting a police appeal.
South Yorkshire Police said the series of lights had been put up in trees in the Mexborough area to remember “loved ones who have sadly passed away”.
Wiring which powered the lights was cut on Garden Street, Plumpton Avenue and Wath Road, with battery packs also stolen.
Officers wish to speak to two men pictured on CCTV, described as being about 20 years old and about 5ft 8in tall, in connection with the investigation.
