Earlier this evening, police warned drivers to avoid the area following an incident on the A63.
Humberside Police said that the A63 westbound between Daltry Street flyover and St Andrews Quay was closed to all vehicles.
A number of drivers took to Facebook to urge others to avoid the surrounding area. People were warning of ‘queuing traffic for miles’ with cars said to be ‘hardly moving’.
Traffic reporting service, Inrix, says that the lanes have since reopened.
