Four men who took part in a revenge plot that ended in their friend being fatally stabbed have been jailed.
Dylan Earp, Jack Rider, Tray Plummer and Jack Stretton – along with victim Harry Abbott – travelled to a rival’s home in Seacroft, Leeds, in October 2025 in a stolen car armed with weapons to punish him for two previous incidents.
During the attack, Abbott, 19, was knifed by the target, Alfie Milburn, before the four defendants took their friend to another address, where he died.
Earp, 20, Rider,19, Plummer, 24, and Stretton, 28, admitted conspiracy to commit GBH and weapons offences and were jailed for between five and seven-and-a-half years at Leeds Crown Court on Thursday.
The court heard the men, including Harry Abbott, travelled to Alfie Milburn’s home, where he lived with his partner and baby, in a stolen Ford Focus with fake registration plates on 8 October.
They believed Milburn, 20, had been involved in stabbing one of their friends a few days before and were seen on CCTV approaching Milburn’s home, armed and wearing balaclavas.
After Milburn fled, he then stabbed Abbott in the back with a sword so hard it punctured an artery.
Milburn was later convicted of manslaughter and jailed for nine years in a young offenders’ institute with a further five years on licence.
Earp, who stayed in the car, and Rider were arrested within days of the incident and initially arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary but later charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
