Thousands of people took part in the Sheffield 10K earlier, many of whom were raising money for a variety of good causes.
The event, organised by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All, started and ended in Arundel Gate, with participants passing Endcliffe Park and Bingham Park.
Leo Cossham and Claire Frankland were the fastest male and female runners with a time of 31 minutes 55 seconds and 36 minutes one second respectively.
Frankland said: “I love coming back to Sheffield to race, I grew up here but moved away so to come back and do the 10K and win it, is absolutely brilliant.”
Cossham, 27, praised the support along the route. He said: “The crowd made me not suffer too much, I was enjoying it. It felt good, felt amazing.”
